Lee Creative is proud to have been involved in the home coming celebrations for Hull City AFC following their recent triumph at Wembley.
Lee Creative worked closely with Hull City Council and Visit Hull and East Yorkshire to produce the banners and posters seen all over Hull city centre over the bank holiday weekend.
Queen Victoria square was decorated with posters of the players with all local businesses taking part in the celebrations, most adorning their shop windows with flags and posters. The Ferens Art Gallery was draped in a huge banner which few city centre visitors could miss. The company's work also included the bus wraps for the buses the players and management toured the city in.
In total, an estimated 100,000 triumphant supporters took to the streets to welcome the Hull City heroes as they paraded around in an open-top bus parade to celebrate the team's achievements.
Creative Director Kevin Wilkie says: "As a design agency we are proud to have helped VHEY and Hull City Council prepare for this prestigious event. We've worked in partnership with local company Bartuf Graphics who have produced all of the material based on our designs. Hull City getting to the Premier League is incredibly positive for the city, and will draw the right kind of attention to Hull. As a local business we are delighted to have been given the opportunity to work on this project. We have a few Hull City fans in the office, including myself, and we all wish the team the very best of luck for next season."
